The artist, as a prestidigitator, overturns the piece of art, duplicates it, turns iron into gold and through a poetic shift created by the metal and drop shadows, eventually reveals the "birds of Braque", pulsing on the illuminated surface.
Reference to painter Georges Braque, who came back war-crippled from WWI in 1915.
