QUIBE

Quibe's drawings are the exemplary case of how much a single line has to offer to the viewer. Since 2012, Quibe has been creating from Paris imaginary worlds, suggested portraits, plants and objects in the most minimalist way possible. His graphic one-line illustrations capture moments, movement and different perspectives with an elegant essentialist touch.

Born in 1970 in the Parisian area and raised in the Pacific, Christophe Louis (Quibe) first intended to study literature, before devoting himself to his passion for drawing. Art studies at the IPMD Paris led him to join an advertising agency as Artistic Director (Leo Burnett) then Creative Director at Melville, still in advertising or at Pumpkin (animation studio).

Over time, Quibe’s illustration work within the advertising world grew increasingly significant, eventually leading him to pursue drawing as his primary profession. The discovery of the one-line technique became a turning point—showing him that a single, continuous stroke could carve out his unique path while inviting others to follow along. As the ink flows, Quibe strives to reveal the invisible threads that connect us, capturing fleeting moments and movements to make them timeless and unforgettable. His minimalist yet intricate style has attracted the attention of major brands such as Mont Blanc, Giorgio Armani, British Airways, Audi, and Renaissance Hotels, who have sought his artistry for campaigns, advertisements, and marketing projects.
